Broadening Notions of AIDS Treatment and Care in Africa

April 2005 – PROMETRA International representatives, Dr. Erick Gbodossou, International President  and Professor Kenneth Mossanda, Executive Director of PROMETRA South Africa were invited participants to address the conference sponsored by the Rockefeller Foundation and coordinated by TICAH - Trust for Indigenous Culture and Health. http://www.ticahealth.org  The purpose of this unprecedented conversation from 5-9 April 2005 at the Bellagio Study and Conference Center in Italy was to broaden notions of HIV/AIDS  treatment and care in Africa so that they are more inclusive of traditional medicines.
