PROMETRA Delegates Bring the Voice of Traditional Medicine to ICASA 2005

December 2005 – Twenty three PROMETRA delegates participated in ICASA 2005 held in Abuja, Nigeria.  PROMETRA’s traditional medicine activities included a traditional medicine roundtable, traditional healers’ march, participation in the ICASA Leadership Programme and presentation of traditional medicine scientific abstracts.  Bringing the message that we must find “African solutions to African problems:, PROMETRA continued to demonstrate the comprehensive role that African traditional medicine can and must play in the fight against HIV/AIDS throughout Africa.
