March 2006 - The field visit of the delegations representing SAMUELI Institute, the National Foundation for Alternate Medicine (NFAM), and the Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) included:

   - two meetings that were held on March 10 and 11, 2006, at PROMETRA

     International headquarters in Dakar;

   - on March 12, 2006, a visit to the Center for Experimental Traditional

     Medicine (CEMETRA) located in Fatick (150 km from Dakar).

The objective of these activities were to provide SAMUELI Institute and NFAM with a better understanding of the medical research undertaken by PROMETRA International.  The Morehouse School of Medicine and PROMETRA International has maintained a partnership relationship since 1991.
