Cultures - Bringuing cultures together

The interest granted by International PROMETRA to bringing cultures together, rises from the need for the answer to bring to the conflicts and tensions which shake the world with the contempt of the wisdom of the diversity and the cultural complementarity of the people in the balance of the world.

Network Africa Diaspora

cul_b.jpgSeveral voyages were accomplished throughout the world with the aim of consolidating the plural initiatives undertaken for bringing together Africa and its Diaspora. In Europe, in the Caribbean and to the USA, PROMETRA International exposed the shutters of its biennial program including the study trips, the pilgrimages near sites and human treasures guards of the African historical memory.

Cross-border initiatives

PROMETRA International participated, at a regional and sub regional level, in initiatives which rehabilitate the assets of the African togetherness magnified by the imaginary of kins’joke linkage and by the cross-border character of matrimonial alliances. In Mali, in Benin, in Togo, etc, several cultural activities were unrolled for the diffusion of the culture of dialogue, of coexistence, of justice and peace.

Meeting with the Dignitaries

cul_a.jpgAn annual agenda of meetings with the dignitaries of Africa makes it possible PROMETRA International to carry out exchanges in order to enrich its experience in their implication in safeguarding our values of civilization. These dignitaries animate in areas for immaterial knowledge preservation, periodic sessions for the benefit of a public coming from various countries of the world.

PROMETRA International has a program of support with the initiatives of the women for the valorization of their traditional knowledge. With the image of the support brought to the Museum of the Woman in Gorée in Senegal, PROMETRA International is mobilized in Bamako in Mali for the opening of the Museum of the Woman Muso Kunda who aims at becoming a window of the knowledge from sub regional women healers.

Promotion of Cultural diversity in Africa

Because of its cultural cross-border network, PROMETRA International was requested by various organizations within the framework of the promotion of cultural diversity in Africa. On this subject, it was charged to work out the axes of an action plan as a contribution to the implementation of the programs retained for the year 2010, proclaimed that of the bringing together of the cultures by the General meeting of the United Nations.
