PROMETRA International HIV Research Featured in International Conference

PROMETRA International is an MOU partner with Morehouse School of Medicine (Atlanta, GA USA) and the Andrew J Young Foundation to promote and protect traditional medicine through research and education.  Dr. Erick Gbodossou, PROMETRA International President will join Ambassador Andrew Young and researchers from Morehouse School of Medicine to discuss ongoing HIV research utilizing the traditional knowledge and herbal products of African traditional healers in an upcoming international conference the week of World AIDS Day 2018.Morehouse School of Medicine Website The Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) recently launched a new Office of Global Health Equity (OGHE). On Wednesday, November 28th, MSM’s OGHE will host its first-ever global health equity symposium, to foster critical connections for advancing action towards global health equity and impact. The symposium theme is “Global Health Equity: Envisioning the Future.” This 1-day, interdisciplinary meeting will bring together a diverse mix of international and domestic global health and development experts, researchers, policy-makers, and advocates.The conference will feature a viewing of the PROMETRA AYF documentary, Strong Medicine: The Secret Power of African Healing, in the Complementary and Integrative, Approached to Global Health and Wellness session.  A discussion of the ongoing scientific laboratory and clinical research will follow.It is in the spirit of collaboration and partnership that we are soliciting the participation of key members of the broader global health and development community to join us in imagining a way forward in the pursuit of global health equity. The symposium will take place at the Morehouse School of Medicine main campus – Louis W.
