  WAYS OF REMEMBRANCE AND SPIRITUAL CONNECTION

Pilgrimage for the memory and healing rituals of the wound caused by slavery and of the Black slavery trade, initiated by PROMETRA International and accompanied by the great spiritual dignitaries of Benin.





OBJECTIVES OF THE JOURNEY

•    Share our memories to open the future to all.
•    Build the present by healing the wounds of the past.
•    Rehabilitate all memories and recognize all identities from this       part of the history of humanity.  
•     Return to sources through the door of return in restoring   all the doors of no return which millions of Africans have crossed to be taken in slavery..
•    Vivre à travers ce voyage un ressourcement au cœur de la spiritualité africaine berceau de l’humanité.
•    Experiencing through this journey a healing of the heart of African spirituality cradle of humanity.

OTHER  INFORMATION

Budget for  the stay per person (9 days) :
1500 € (room for 2) or
1626 € (individual room)
-    At departure from France  (group ticket on Air France flights) =         650 €
-    Fees for visa  =                                   35 €
-    Participation : promotional  price of 400 € (263 000 CFA) =            400 €
-    Meal + drink : 5 € (3000 FCFA)/person/Meal =                       90 €
-    lodging at the Celine Residence, Beach of Cotonou:
o    Single room : 34 € (22 000 FCFA)/night/person =             305 €
o    Room for 2 people : 20 € (12 500 FCFA)/ night/person =         180 €
-    Local transportation : 16 € (10 000 Francs CFA)/day/person =        145 €

Each participant shall carry the following:
For women, two white bubus (or dresses) + 2 white pants + 2 white headscarves + 2 white shawls + 2 beautiful dresses at choice, no jewels.

For men: 2 white loincloths to put on around the waist (or 2 white pants) + 2 white loincloths to put on the left shoulder + 2 uniforms at the choice, and no jewels.
All the rituals are performed in white.
Bring along a 4m of loin cloth (2x2m): 1 around the waist and 1 over  the shoulder.
All the program coordination for the “Ways of the remembrance and the Spiritual Connection,  Edition 2011” will be carried out  from the headquarters of PROMETRA in Dakar by Charles Katy (cell +221/ 76 581 96 21). MISSIONS

The origin of PRO.ME.TRA can be traced back to 1971, under the initiative of Professor Colomb, supported by Professor Delauture and Professor Paul Correa through the launching of programs aimed at rehabilitating traditional medicine and indigenous civilisation values.
 
 
PRO.ME.TRA is as much an organism of cultural research, medical practice, scientific research structure works as an instrument of African integration and international relations through the rehabilitation of traditional medicine, ancient religions and universal spirituality.
