In this current January 2012, the Senegal National Academy of Sciences and Technology, is conducting an information survey on the situation of research at the national level. This approach lies within the scope of the development of the Islamic Atlas for Research and Innovation, supported by the Organization of the Islamic Conference. For this purpose, Pr. Guélaye Sall and Dr. Mamadou L. Sow paid a work visit to PROMETRA International headquarters to overview the research carried out by this trans-border organization. It was exposed to them, the multi-sector activities undertaken through Africa and the world. The visitors had an overview of the medical practice of PROMETRA International, crowned by 17 patents relating to HIV/AIDS, diabetes, hemorrhoids, dermatitis and so on. Let us quote that PROMETRA International takes part regularly, in the activities organized by the aforementioned academy and shares its experience in the field of the articulation between endogenous knowledge and modern research.
